IP allow-list
IP authentication
IP authentication instead of credentials: authenticate by source address, for platforms with fixed egress IPs.
Get test credentialsWhere your platform has fixed egress addresses, authenticating by IP removes a credential from circulation and makes an intercepted password useless on its own.
Use it alongside credentials, not instead of them
We recommend both: an allow-list bounds where traffic can originate, and credentials bound who is originating it. Address changes go through the NOC and are usually applied the same day.
- Applies to SMPP, HTTP API and SIP
- Configuration Allow-list of your egress addresses
- Changes Handled by the NOC, usually same day
- Combined with Credentials, for defence in depth
Get credentials
Credentials are issued with your test account, on the same routes production will use.
